CINEMA

Cinemas across the country run Kids’ Clubs, screening films at designated times especially for children. For further information about what is available in your area, it is advised that you contact your local cinema or look in the local newspaper.

If you wish to take your children to see a film that is on general release, Scoot provides a facility that allows you to search for your nearest cinema and see what is showing.

Jeremy Perkins, a film enthusiast from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, has compiled a list of all the cinemas in the UK, organised first by country, then alphabetically by town. His website also has links to the home pages of the main cinema chains across Great Britain.

For more information about what’s going on in your area, visit your Local Authority’s website. It can provide details on activities, attractions and services available to you and your family.
