My sister (now 42 years)was a VERY fussy eater all the way through childhood and would only eat 3 teaspoons when small at any meal (acording to my mum).
Then I came along and used to eat everything handed my way and still wanted more.
We have both grown up fine but my sister has a real problem with feeling that she has to eat everything on her plate yet I stop when I'm full. Leaving my poor sister with weight problem to battle.
I always try to focus on this when my three get fussy, to try and just stay calm.
Hope your little one is eating better for you now. My youngest who is 8 months old is a fussy eater too and bores of flavours easily, so I have to keep the variety there, she too started on the lower weight side which was a shock after two boys that shot off the graph! But I constantly remind myself of my sister's fussyness and know she'll be fine. |
